Hebei Zhaohe Ecological Technology Co. Ltd (HZET) is engaged mainly in development, production and marking the ecological and environmental production products made from starch-based biodegradable decomposition of other materials. Dongguang is located adjacent to Tianjin harbor and Huanghua harbor hence it is near the capital city Beijing.

The company mainly deals with R&D production and Starch-based biodegradable plastic business. The company consists of 200,000sqm in Dongguang, holding 15,000 tons of annual production capacity with an investment of RMB15 million as a registered capital. The goal of its investment was to reach RMB630 million yuan with 3 years construction period. At the moment, 120 million has already been invested in this project with an annual production number of 100,000 tons.

The main material used in our product is corn starch, the further processed products from corn, which falls into the national new strategic industry with an intention to increase the income of farmers and to encourage the green ecological agriculture and environment protection project as well. This degradable product can replace the other products made from none-renewable resources of petroleum.

With performance properties that span these materials, as well as its ease of process ability, the product polymer can offer cost and productivity advantages that constitute a competitive advantage for our customers.

Produced by HZET, the resin is ideal for packaging manufacturing. Applications using this polymer resin can be clear, opaque, flexible or rigid. The provides gloss and clarity similar to polystyrene, and exhibits tensile strength and modulus comparable to hydrocarbon-based thermoplastics. Like polyester, the polymer resists grease and oil, and offers an excellent flavor and odor barrier. And our product provides heat sealability at temperatures equivalent to polyolefin sealant resins.
